We have a wide variety of mentoring programs. Find out which is best for you!

Who We Are

In 1921, The Big Brother Association of Burlington and Hamilton-Wentworth evolved under the leadership of the Rotary Club of Hamilton. It was designed to assist boys brought before Magistrate's Court.

The original purpose of the Association was 1) to work toward the prevention and cure of juvenile delinquency; 2) to co-operate with Juvenile Court for the reformation and care of the boys coming in contact with the Court; and 3) to consider and discuss all questions related to underprivileged youth.

In 2003 Big Sister Youth Services and the Big Brother Association of Burlington and Hamilton-Wentworth merged their Matching Programs and the organization began operating as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hamilton and Burlington.

To meet our mission of providing quality mentoring relationships to children in need, we rely on the support of donors, volunteers and corporate/community partners. Our vision is to significantly contribute to the healthy development of youth in our community.
