5 Easy Setps to Become a Volunteer

We want to make sure you have enough information to choose the mentoring opportunity that suits you best. You don't have to change your life to change theirs.

1. Please complete our Volunteer Orientation.
2. Complete the Online Volunteer Application form.  If you would prefer to print the application and mail, fax or scan it to us, please click here.

3. Obtain a Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance:
   • Option 1: Visit www.crccrimerecordcheck.com and complete a vulnerable sector police clearance on-line. It will take 24 hours to process your request.
   • Option 2: Contact our office for a letter and form to bring to the Hamilton or Halton Police Services office. The process takes 4 to 6 weeks.
4. Attend a Personal Interview.
5. Join other volunteers at a workshop about child safety. (We'll book it at your interview.)
